How to Update Your Contact Information or Email Address

(Using the XMLAHost.com Client Area)

Keeping your contact information up to date is essential for account security, service notifications, billing reminders, and domain renewal alerts. If your email or phone number changes, it’s important to update it in your XMLAHost.com account right away.

Here’s how to update your contact info through the XMLA client portal in just a few clicks.


Step-by-Step: Update Your Info in the Client Area

1. Log into Your XMLAHost Account

Visit: https://xmlahost.com/login
Enter your email address and password, then click Login.


2. Access Your Account Details

Once logged in:

  • Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner

  • Select Account Details from the dropdown menu


3. Edit Your Contact Information

You’ll now see fields for:

  • First and Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Company Name (optional)

  • Address and City/State/Postal Code

  • Country

Update any information that’s changed, especially your primary email address — this is where all important communication will be sent.


4. Save Your Changes

Once you’ve made the updates, scroll down and click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.


Want to Add a Secondary Contact or Sub-Account?

You can also add a sub-user (team member, developer, bookkeeper, etc.) with limited or full access:

  1. Go to Contacts/Sub-Accounts in the same Account section

  2. Click Add New Contact

  3. Choose what permissions they should have (billing, support, domains, etc.)

  4. Save the contact and enable email notifications if needed


Security Reminder

For your protection, XMLA support cannot update your email address by request alone. You must log in and make the change yourself — or verify your identity through a support request using your security question.
